Resources continue to flow from the federal level to meet a large variety of community needs and our Congressional Delegation is a tremendous resource for information about how to access those dollars. Our Congressional offices also provide a wealth of knowledge and other resources to serve multiple federal purposes.

Our Congressional staff have committed to offering regular check-ins with the nonprofit sector to hear about our needs. Please join us for the conversation.

WHAT IT IS

• An opportunity to get to know Congressional staff who work with nonprofits

• A session to ask about federal funding or legislation

• A way to familiarize yourself with the various types of assistance Congressional offices can offer

• A chance to learn about how Congressional processes work, how offices are structured, any open job opportunities

WHAT IT’S NOT

• A direct lobbying opportunity on specific projects or legislation (you can make a connection, but any lobbying needs to occur outside of this session)

• A session to air your gripes about any individual Congressional offices or Congressional processes
