This essential board governance training is for you. The NBLI provides training to become effective board members and community leaders. The training will include:

• An overview of best practices in nonprofit board governance

• Key responsibilities all board members need to be aware of

• The elements of a successful board-staff relationship

• Effective organizational planning and evaluation to help nonprofit organizations achieve their missions 

• How to determine which nonprofit is right for you

NBLI graduates will have the option to participate in HANO’s board-matching database that facilitates the connection between potential board members and HANO member nonprofit organizations searching for qualified board members.
